Interview with Clive Hamilton: Dave at the @PodDelusion
I was able to interview Clive Hamilton, author of Affluenza, on his new book, Requiem for a Species at the Pod Delusion.
Although it is a book about climate change, it is more about why we have failed to heed the many warnings about where we’re headed and why we deny, in many cases, hard facts. I will be writing a longer review of this excellent book once I have caught up on work and sleep. Suffice to say that it paints a worryingly grim and worryingly realistic picture of where we’re going and, more particularly, why we have singularly failed, as a species, to put into place the policies and changes indicated by the science of climate change to avoid catastrophe.
