Turns out I'm a bleeding heart liberal
Who’da thunk it, eh? Via Iain Dale (who cleverly rebrands the ‘how progressive are you’ quiz as the ‘how conservative are you’ quiz),there’s a rather fun quiz on where you lie on a progressive-liberal spectrum courtesy of the Center for American Progress.
I scored 309, which makes me ‘extremely liberal’. As ever, I have a problem with quizzes like this in that I think that the federal government does too much but the state and local governments don’t do enough and that it tries to condense all political variation into a single line.

Only a 275, here, which remains “very progressive”, and 60 points above the average American.

Compared to you, I’m somewhere in the ‘Fidel Castro’ region. As I say, there are problems with one-axis quizzes like this; I prefer the political compass.
