The first results are in

And it’s Obama.

Dixville Notch, an unincorporated village in New Hampshire, opens its polls, every time, at 0001 EST. As there are only 21 voters, it doesn’t take long to count.

Barack Obama received fifteen votes to John McCain’s six. It voted 19-7 for George W Bush in 2004 and, just in case anyone is confused, has absolutely no predictive value at all.
