The first quote is important because it does show that McCain, hopefully, recognises that, particularly given current US military engagements and the financial crisis, America must act multilaterally all the time.
The second quote is interesting from the point of the UK and NPfIT. If the USA sets up a countrywide system for securely sharing medical records, we could well learn from them.
Eitherway, I think Joe the plumber is suddenly going to be very popular.
