		<description>It depends what you mean by &#039;the green movement&#039;. There are different opinions to be had on George Monbiot, but I don&#039;t think it&#039;s fair to include people like Sheherazade Goldsmith in that movement. Effect and ulterior motives are important in this debate, as are ways of making it either very easy or unavoidable to live greener lifestyles; this cuts across issues other than carbon emissions. For instance, recycling is being encouraged because municipal dumps are becoming full.</description>

		<description>Yes, I agree that some &#039;ethical shopping&#039; when people buy more expensive &#039;organic&#039; foods etc can be seen as a form of conspicuous consumption. The green movement needs to be careful not be seen as elitist</description>
